The Bartlesville Regional United Way welcomed Annah Fischer as the new campaign manager.
“We are really excited to welcome Annah as a full-time part of our team,” CEO and Executive Director Jody Burch said. “Annah has interned with us since last May as our health initiative coordinator and done an outstanding job. We look forward to introducing her to the community as she steps into her new role.”
As the health initiative coordinator, Fischer distributed prescription savings cards to community members, increasing local savings by over $12,000 since August 2014, while also representing United Way and FamilyWize to hundreds of local business owners and managers. She served as a campaign ambassador and oversaw eight businesses’ internal campaigns for the United Way. She also volunteers with the Boys & Girls Club of Bartlesville.
“I'm looking forward to building more relationships within the community,” Fischer said. “The position of campaign manager will allow me to connect with individuals, agencies, and companies in order to promote change within the community. I'm thrilled to be in Bartlesville and look forward to raising funds in order to address the needs and concerns within Washington County.”
Fischer graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in 2013, and is completing her master’s in human relations from OU.
Prior to her move to Bartlesville, Fischer served in leadership roles with the Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority.
Fischer’s husband, Ryan, works for ConocoPhillips, and they live in downtown Bartlesville.
