Greetings! I’m reaching out on behalf of The Salvation Army to share an exciting and meaningful opportunity that makes a lasting impact in our community as we embark on our annual Red Kettles campaign. As our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Red Kettles campaign plays a vital role in supporting the less fortunate in our community all year round. It’s a beacon of hope that makes a significant difference in countless lives.
We are in need of cheerful volunteers to man our Red Kettle locations, carry out the delightful task of ringing our iconic Salvation Army bell, and spread festive joy by warmly greeting everyone they encounter. This simple yet meaningful interaction helps foster a sense of community and togetherness during the holiday season.
Volunteer groups of 2-10 people are ideal, and we offer shifts from 11 am-7 pm, ranging from 1 to 8 hours, to cover the full 8-hour day. As the season approaches, the Register to Ring system will provide details on the various locations where volunteers will be needed.
This is a chance to embody the spirit of Christmas and make a real difference in our community. Thank you for considering our request. Please feel free to contact us for further information. We can’t wait to work together to make this season truly special for those in need.
