Our elementary teachers need help preparing workbooks and cutout images at the beginning of the school year. This includes tearing out and collating pages from workbooks, cutting shapes for PreK students use for art and special projects, and assembling pages into a “book of the year” for students to enter their work and take home at the end of the year. The paper projects are the majority of the work for this project. Tools involved include paper cutters, hold punches, staplers, and scissors which will be provided. Could be 6-7 people for 7 hours or 12-15 people for half a day.
There is also a small job rehabilitating a small outside raised planter box for our PreK students to plant a food garden. This will include removing weeds or grass that have grown into the box over the summer, mulching with organic material and possibly adding dirt. This small project usually takes 3 people about 30-45 minutes and will require gloves and hoes/shovels which will be provided.
A light breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be included in the day.

Number of Hours: 50

Tools/Equipment that will be used during this project: Paper cutters, hold punches, staplers, scissors for the majority of work. Gloves and hoes/shovels for a small portion of the work.
