This program instills a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence and competence in the lives of our communities’ young people. The program focuses on five core areas: character and leadership development; health and life skills; the arts; education and career development; sports, fitness and recreation.
Students receive help in math, reading and science through a collaboration between teachers and Club staff to achieve a better outcome.
This program brings lessons to schools such as anger management, self-esteem, trustworthiness, what to do if bullied, decision making and communication. Also, it collaborates with organizations in town to ensure youth gain hands-on vocational and volunteer opportunities in fields of interest through their Traditional Scouting program.
This program provides scouting units with the programs they need to ensure that the scouts gain character development and self-assurance through various activities and leadership opportunities. Scout Camps offer time outdoors to learn activity skills, leadership and social cooperation.
This program provides background checks, training, supervision and mentoring of volunteers. This fosters self confidence as well as leadership skills in volunteers which ensure a quality leader for the girls. Another component of the program builds girls of courage, confidence and character through the Girl Scouting Journey, which is one way girls can experience Girl Scouting, and also through Girl Scouting Pathways, which is the way girls and adults participate in Girl Scouting together.
The club provides high quality and low cost after school and all day summer activities such as tutoring, computer lab instruction, field trips, athletic activities and snacks in a well-supervised Christian atmosphere.
Provides homework help and snacks to children after school.
The program provides anger management/crisis resolution education to students in Bartlesville Public School District. Students practice mindful breathing; do problem solving role-playing; do team-building/physical fitness activities; view educational videos and have group discussions.
