We are excited to announce our upcoming food drive which is set to take place within the local school systems. Our expectation is to receive a substantial amount of canned food items that will require sorting and packing before distribution to families in need. The final distribution will take place during a separate event, which is our annual Angel Tree distribution in December. With this in mind, we are requesting your assistance in rallying volunteer groups of 8-30 people to aid us in this significant task.
The volunteers’ primary responsibility will be to sort and pack the collected canned food items, preparing them for final distribution. We expect that the work will generally take place between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm, but we would like to reassure you that we are very flexible and can adapt our schedule to accommodate the availability of the volunteers.
